Snapshots of the Immune System

Have you ever wondered what goes on in our bodies when our immune system is challenged? Have a closer look at the immune system this Day of Immunology Photography exhibition.

The science of Immunology is all about finding out how our immune system works, which helps us to understand and treat disease. To celebrate our incredible immune system, the International Day of Immunology is held annually on the 29th April and aims to engage the public about immunology and biomedical research. This year’s event includes a scientific photography exhibition with images contributed by immunology scientists from around Australia and New Zealand.

In this unique event where art and science meet, come and see what your immune system looks like under the microscope!The exhibition is open until Sunday 9 April, at the following times:

  • Friday 7th April: 10am-4pm.
  • Saturday 8th April: 10am-4pm.
  • Sunday 9th April: 10-2pm.
